# E-commerce and app installation: where web integration ends

An integration with an e-commerce platform can help monitor web browsing. To investigate the origin of a mobile installation, it is also necessary to evaluate the passage through the application store and the native instrumentation.

## Two integration questions

The first question is what events and signals the online store can make available, with what permissions and limitations. The second is how the application receives or retrieves evidence pertinent to the installation. The first answer does not prove the second.

## A staged test

## What to ask before choosing an integration

Ask for the component version, tested scenario, application access requirements, and diagnostic procedure. Confirm the current platform distribution process for your case, without assuming public approval from a local test.
