Process at the edge, share minimally
The recommended design turns video into in-store events and sends only necessary data. The analytics layer does not require facial recognition or raw video.
Geographic correlation is not individual identification nor causality. Reports must show window, coverage, confidence and controls.
Quality gates
- direction and zone calibration;
- occlusion and schedule test;
- staff filter validated before use;
- alert for offline camera, clock and divergent model;
- separate retention and access for raw media, where it exists;
- sample reconciliation with manual counting.
